In German, Portugese, Ticuna & Catalan among other languages. Inspired by real life journals, this is a haunting and mesmerising dream-like story set in the Amazon. The film captures the travels of an ethnobiologist travelling among lost tribes and is a rich tribute to a lost world that has been torn apart by colonialism. It is the story of two explorers forty years apart, guided by the shaman Karamatake, who comes to believe that these two men are one and the same.
