Our first screening of an Icelandic film is the story of two estranged brothers who live on neighbouring farms and haven't spoken to each other for 40 years. Disaster strikes the farmers when scrapie attacks their flocks of sheep. The local community revere their sheep and the brothers are forced to set aside their feuding. At times funny and melancholic the film is set against dramatic sweeping landscapes.
